I want wider instead of taller as the taller tire is the same as a higher gear. I don't want to lose any low end grunt from the V6 torque monster. I have quadralift for added ground clearance where needed. Where I drive on farm field roads and loose mountain trails there is not much need for ground clearance but a larger contact patch would help with traction.

The 285s work very well If you look at my earlier posts I have enclosed pictures of my 2015 GC with the new 285/60 G2 tires on them. they are only slightly taller but much wider

Yeah, that's a wicked looking ride. That's the size I want for sure and probably the same tire. The more I see of that Nitto the better I like it.

Today got new feet hankooks dynopro rf10 18 265 60, they preformed great as getting home rain and into mud on station total diff car from the michess
