Terra Grapplers G2 noisier than previous version?

Thinking about getting the Terra Grapplers G2 for my Summit; 265/50/20 size.
Does anyone know if the newer tires are noisier than the previous Terra Grapplers, and how do they handle on freeways and mild off road in dry, rain, snow and ice? Snow and ice maybe 6% of use.
Thanks!

I have been running the G2s for about 4 months. These tires are amazing & I do not find them noisy, at all! They are a great AT tire & grip well in the wet slush, snow & ice! I highly recommend the G2s!

Never ran the original Grapplers, but I find the G2s no louder than stock tires.

Do they give you a hard time for putting a tire with a lower speed rating than stock on it? I have had tire places hassle me about that before even though its only a few miles per hour

If any tire shop ever gave me a hard time about a tire speed rating i would leave and go to another one. Its not worth the time anymore to hassle with idiots.

I think people who put G2s on their jeep and complain about noise. Have probably never put ats on before.
