Re: The New Wheels on the Overland

Too big, but at least its a tasteful design. On my Denali I have factory 20s, but I miss the ride of the factory 17s of my previous Denali. Over on tahoeyukonforum 24s are starting to look a little small.

In 2000 I put 20s on my Navigator, but once rims kept growing I went the opposite way. Give me a tasteful factory rim that says I'm older than 23 and I'm ok with it. Plus around here half the soccer moms in their Tahoes and Eskys have 24s.

LMFAO!!! Trust me bro I have wanted HRE's since I was 16 (went to their plant in SoCal and fell in love)...I found them online, used from a guy in FL...he posted them on JG and I thought it was too good to be true. Did a $hit load of research, and sure enough they were legit! He wanted $3500 + shipping at first, I paid $2500 shipped WITH brand new Pirelli Scorpions! I got an almost $10K new wheel and tire set-up for 1/4 of the price! included the TPMS...all I had to buy was the black lugs

Thanks for the kind words...I am very happy

Re: The New Wheels on the Overland

I think your wheels are awesome! They look really good. I agree the 5 star is the most appealing to me. Anything more kinda gets too busy and distracting. Nice job!

Those 22s are pushing it, but we'll let you stay.....

But, the First person to post their jeep with spinners is getting voted off the forum!

Re: The New Wheels on the Overland

What size rubber are you running on those 22's? Do you think 50 or 55 series tires will fit without rubbing?

Re: The New Wheels on the Overland

They are 265/40's. They are the same rollout diameter as stock, so no issues with questioning my actual mileage for warranty, or spedometer being off. Yes, 50 series would work, they do look HUGE though

Re: The New Wheels on the Overland

Overall not too bad. Like others have said I think its the offset that would bother me the most as I dont like when wheels stick out of the fenders. I will say for aftermarket they are one of the better ones I have seen.
For me personally the stock 20's look soooo perfect on the new Overland's I couldnt imagine removing them for something aftermarket. I have also had bad luck with any non-OEM wheel I have ever had. The quality just isnt there. Poor finish or chrome, out of balance etc etc.

Thanks for posting pics.

James
