Re: The official Wheel thread

Just for you, Bucky:

The black shoes really help cut down on the Overland's chrome overdose. My Jeep is pretty dirty, because I often drive down dusty gravel roads and don't feel like washing it every other day. I'm a little embarrassed to show I had the Michelin Latitudes that came with the ORAII package mounted on the wheels. I was too lazy to sell them and buy different tires. I'll find out how well they hold up to abuse, I guess. I have to admit that they're MUCH quieter than the Bridgestone Blizzaks I drove on for 7,000 miles during the Winter that never really happened.

Re: The official Wheel thread

Hello, I am here to introduce me and the Jeep. 2012 Overland.

I would like to get 22" rims but curious as too which offset is best and why. It seems that I could get a little wider tire on the Jeep and stick out a little further since there seems to be some room.

Questions:
- What offset is stock?
- What offset to get with 22's
- WHat width is stoclk wheels?
- What width to get with 22's
- I liked the Startech 22's that smoove7410 posted on page #6 but it wasn't his jeep so any help there with offset and rubber? Those were mounted on 265/40 Continentals.
- Lastly, my jeep is Stone White so not sure if I want to do Chrome or a darker color... thoughts?

Thanks in advance for the help

Re: The official Wheel thread

I've been wanting to see the artillery in an 18 or 20 with some nitto mud grapplers and a lift for a while. I don't like how that wheel looks as a 17 though. The spokes are too short imho. Its best as a 20".

my buddy has these on his 4 runner and it looks badass, too bad the bolt pattern isn't the same else i'd try them on. Right now I've got some bills to pay then I'll try them on the jeep. The price isn't bad either.

Re: The official Wheel thread

Need some help from wheel experts. I want to know if these will fit.

http://www.customwheelsexpress.com/g...=713MB-7907310

I'm concerned about the low offset (+10). Is that too low? Does this mean they will stick out too far and the tires will rub against the wheel well? help.

Re: The official Wheel thread

I believe that our stock offset is +50. So a +10 will move your wheel 4cm out.
