Re: The official Wheel thread

Hey guys, will the Rubicon JK wheels and mud terrain tires (32") fit just fine on my incoming GC Diesel? I saw that some GC's come with 17" wheels, so I figure I would be fine. I believe both vehicles use the same bolt pattern and offset?

Also, how have you guys been handling the spare tire size issue when running non-stock sizes?

We drive at a tilt for a few miles until we find a tire shop.

I was just wondering if running a smaller tire (spare) would screw up the 4x4 System. Then again, while not using the locker in the rear and letting it slip should be ok for a little bit of time eh?

If the GC has HD brakes, 17s won't fit, you need 18 inch JK wheels.

Ya, I think it may have them due to the Diesels weight. I will most likely go with these as they are only $226 each:

Now I just need to find some good 18" off-road tires in the largest size that will fit GC with air suspension. I saw someone running 32", wonder if with the right spacing 33" would fit.

Better pic this time. Someone asked for a higher res pic awhile back, we'll see how it loads.
