Re: The official Wheel thread

Not exactly a wheel post, but along the same lines.....

Ordered my RRO 1.75" Leveling kit yesterday. Should have in-hand on Thursday and with any luck, installed Saturday. Then my wheels & tires will fit and my WK2 will start to look the way I think it should.

Stay tuned!

Re: The official Wheel thread

Just an update....RRO leveling kit should be at my door this afternoon. Will likely get put on either tomorrow night, or Saturday.

Here's a quick Photoshop of what it'll look like after all's said and done. I realize it's not 100% accurate, but based on what I saw when Discount originally installed the wheels & tires, it's pretty close.

Looks good, I'll be curious to see the actual pics. Does Discount also do the leveling kit or are you bringing it somewhere else.

I'll be doing the lift with my next door neighbor since he has a clean garage and air tools.

Guys I need some help-I have scoured the internet and have had no luck...so I am bringing it to the experts. Does anyone have any idea what rims these are?

Re: The official Wheel thread

Installed the RRO 1.75" Leveling Kit yesterday, along with my new shoes. Install time was about 2.5 hours start to finish, including having to use a wire wheel to strip the powder coating off the bolts on the spacers. Not too bad of an install, especially with the proper tools and work space. with the lift and the new wheels & tires, it rides so much better than stock. And the added height makes it feel more like a real Jeep.

Thanks! Totally changes the look of the WK2 IMO. Now for a Overland grill and maybe some OEM HID headlights.....much later down the road. Other stuff to pay for at the moment.

Looks great! So that's just with the leveling in the front, the back is untouched right?
