Re: The official Wheel thread

Has anyone ran the 22" Spider Money reps yet? Saw a couple sets for sale on eBay. I love the Spider Monkey wheel and have been torn on 20s or 22s. Now that i see they make the rep in 22 I a even more torn!

Any pics?? (I tried searching with no luck)

Re: The official Wheel thread

I am having a very hard time finding a wheel for my 2015 Jeep GC Altitude.

I am looking for something that doesn't require much modification to fit. Although, I do want a tough look. 18x9 would be my ideal size and offset around 18-30ish. However, I am fairly confident the et18 offset would require at least a RRO front level kit. It seems that my wheel choice for 18x9 et18 is very limited as I am not a fan of anything too fancy or "blingy". I love the Method Racing NV's, but they only come in ET0 or ET18 through a special order. Anyone have any other recommendations of wheel choices?

EDIT:

I came across this Jeep (http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f309/.../#post13105594) which supposedly has 17x9 et0 265/70/17 nitto terra grapplers on it with no lift or modifcation to the fenders. Would this work as a plug and play setup?

I have a 2012 and tried putting on 275/65/R18 dura track on those same Mopar wheels, but they were hitting the control arm. Did you have any trouble with? Are you using spacers?

Thnx.

im also looking at running a lower offset than 35mm...18mm offset on a set of 20x9's using the stock fortera tires (trying to save a buck for now) on my Quadralift Overland. Anyone thoughts on an 18mm offset?

I am running a +12 offset on my 2015 Summit but I would not recommed it. However, I am running larger tires (275/65R18 Duratracs) so you might be ok with a smaller size tire. I currently get alot of rubbing and the tire has worn off the pins that hold the fender liner on the back side of the front wheel wells. The fender liner now has seperated from the wheel well at the bottom and curled up slightly so I have a noise now (from the tire hitting the liner) any time I turn the wheel. I hope this helps...

Here are mine. KMC XD Bombs 18x9 with 30 offset. Tires Nitto Trail Grapplers 285/65R18. I have the leveling kit but am upgrading to the full 2.5" lift. Also have the 1" BORA wheel spacers.

Re: The official Wheel thread

Definite rubbing with tires. Had to grind down a piece of metal behind the front tires, as well as some of the inside felt on the front, and some of the plastic lip of the fender on the inside as well. The bigger lift should give me more clearance.
