Tire Options

Can anyone please provide some insights to tire options for 18" wheels?

I DO NOT have the QL system and want to keep my OEM wheels and want to keep everything else i.e. will not add a lift, spacers, etc.

Just want to have better all-terrain year around tires.

Thanks for your insights!

Re: Tire Options

There are lots of threads here that cover your question...type in the OEM tire size to the search function to see what comes up. Once you narrow things down, if a question you have hasn't been answered, folks with those particular tires can likely help.

Depending on where you are in Denver, see if a Discount Tire near you has a set of the Michelin LTX MS/2 in stock. Wear forever, and it is hard to believe they are from the same company that produced the OEM Latitudes.

If there is a Jim Paris near you, they have Nokians, where some folks seem to like their new all season.

I have the MS/2 for most-season, but when the ice/slush is all over I-70 I change over to Nokian Hakka 7 Studs.

Re: Tire Options

I'm running Duratracs in a 265/65r18. They fit just fine with no rubbing on stock coil suspension, also a great winter tire from what I've heard. Don't have experience with them yet in winter but from everyone I've talked to here in North Dakota there awesome in the deep stuff as well as ice.

They also come in the stock 265/60r18 if you don't want to go bigger.
