Tire Rotation

I can't find anything on this forum about tire rotation. Will the system learn the new tire positions, or is there a procedure that needs to be followed after a tire rotation? I have a 2014 WK2. Thanks.

Re: Tire Rotation

I believe the TPMS recognizes tire position now. That wasn't true when TPMS first came out.

That's right, you had to have a device to "beep" each tire by the sensor while the system was in learn mode. Hope that's not the case with the 2014's

Re: Tire Rotation

I rotate my own tires and the tpms match the position no additional work required.

Re: Tire Rotation

Just rotate the tires and drive a few hundred feet and the sensors will pick their corresponding tire pressures.

I can't ask for a better deal than that. Glad they have worked out the TPMS in the owners favor. The early ones were kind of a pain to get in sync.

Thank you, but my owners manual doesn't say anything about tire rotation other than in the chart for maintenance schedule. Nothing in the index about rotation either. I thought it was strange.
