Tire Shine

Recommendations on best tire shine to purchase? I've already had an issue with armor all slinging onto my white paint and staining. However, curious as to what other tire shines may be OK to apply? Also, proper way to apply?

Thanks!

Re: Tire Shine

I like 303 aerospace protectant. I spray it on a rag and wipe it on the tires. It leaves a nice sheen without looking greasy and flinging all over the place. I'm not a big fan of greasy looking tires.

Re: Tire Shine

Water based dressing:
Carpro PERL
Optimum Opti-Bond
Zaino Z16
Meguiar's endurance Gel

I prefer tire coating (Tuff Shine tire coating), lasts much longer than any dressing..

Re: Tire Shine

Bleche white and air dry here... because tires aren't naturally shiny.

Re: Tire Shine

I use Meguiars water based Hyper Dressing. You can mix it different strengths for your tires/hoses etc. It even smells great. I love the stuff. Been using it for years. I bought a gallon from Amazon.

Re: Tire Shine

You should try to buy water based dressings. I use Chemical Guys VRP dressing for my tires. It does not sling (if not over applied) or stain if it were to come in contact with a painted surface. One coat on the tires gives off a slight sheen, which to me is perfect.

Re: Tire Shine

Recommendations on a higher gloss tire shine? I tried the Opti-Bond tire gel and I like it. However, looking for something with a higher shine that is still obviously water based.
