Tire sizing question

Hi everyone,

1st time posting and long time lurking.

I have a question regarding tire sizes. Currently I have a 2011 Laredo with
245/70/17 . I am looking to buy winter tires and I am wondering what are my options on sizes ? I can't find any in my currant size which are in my price range.

Thanks

Greetings,

Depending on the area you live in and travel too, you have two choices. The first is the one you are looking for, a dedicated winter tire, or the second, on/off road tire that has a the mountain snowflake symbol.

Tire Search Results

Besides Tirerack, you can check out Discount tire.com and many other online dealers.

Best for now.

Check out discounttiredirect.com. They offer free shipping, but I don't know if it would apply to Canada..

Check out 1010tires.com, their in British Columbia, just west of you a bit (a couple of hundred miles).

1010TIRES.COMŽ — Tires and Wheels Absolute Authority.

Also, if you google Eldorado Winter Quest SUV tires, they seem to get a very good ratings in Canada. I am sure you can find a online dealer or shop by you that has them.

Eldorado - Winter

Note: 1010tires has the old version of the Eldorado winter tire.

Best for now and happy holidays.

Re: Tire sizing question

just be careful if your jeep is still under warranty. There have been a few posts around the web with different sized tires voiding the warranty.

I run the stock tire size on my cars, until the warranty is up. Just something to think about.
