Tire wear question; also, rust.

Anyone know what this sort of tire wear on my front tires means? (1st and 3rd pictures are front tires, 2nd and 4th are rear) Not only are they wearing a little faster overall in the front, but the edges of the treads on the front tires as you can see are not nearly as sharp as the edges on the rears.

Is the alignment off, air pressure off (despite the monitors showing the pressures being equal and correct), am I taking corners too fast... I'm going to be getting my tires rotated and the alignment checked tomorrow but I was just curious what the actual problem is so if it's something I'm doing wrong I can prevent it in the future.

Also does anyone else have the same amount of rust in that spot on their WK2? Mine just turned 2 years old.

Your front tires are naturally going to wear a little more on the edges because they are tirres that turn, a little like that is normal a lot is not and could be alingment. front tires provide 70% of your stopping power make sure to rotate that will spread the wearing more evenly to all four. The rust on that bolt is normal mine are the same alot of the suspension parts will get surface rust its not a problem. How many miles on tires? Your fine drive and enjoy.
