TPS reset after tire rotation?

Hi All, Do you have to reset the TPS system after you rotate the tires so that it knows the new position of the wheels or does it adjust itself? If so, how do you reset it?

Thanks

Re: TPS reset after tire rotation?

it actually adjusts itself...I had a similar question a year or so ago and sure enough, the TPMS rotate all by themselves

TPS or TPMS?

The TPMS is located behind the valve stem in each of the four main wheels. I don't know where the receiving computer is. When you change your tires/wheels just be careful not to damage the TPMS sensor as they are pricey.
