trailhawk ii details

Looking for any details around this years trailhawk ii gc.. of particular interest:

fitting if the 17" Rubicon wheels (are brakes standard HD diesel, what spacers were used)?
Fender work done to clear 35" tires?
Inner fender work done to clear 35" tires?
Any gearing changes?
Are any of the custom parts going to make it to the molar catalog? (facial, skids, hood, etch)

Thx! Hoping someone from jeep picks these up and runs with them!

Re: trailhawk ii details

Word is that they won't be making the Trailhawk II this year.

I hope it's a false rumor and they are going to surprise us soon.

Re: trailhawk ii details

There hasn't been a JGC Trailhawk since MY13 and there have been no announcements for MY15 to-date. But I agree with 4jeepdiesel that it would be nice if they would offer it.

That said, you could "roll your own" with enough funds and effort!

Re: trailhawk ii details

The trailhawk ll could be pretty easily replicated. Most of the body stuff is off the SRT8 like the bumpers and hood. The cut fenders is pretty easy. Remove fenders flares and cut the fenders to necessary clearance. Have a body guy clean them up and then paint. The inner fender liners would be a little bit of cutting and massaging to get them into the proper locations and clearance.

You better get the diesel with it cuz the V6 will be a real dog with those big wheels. I would also check to see if it voids any warranties you have.
