Trailhawk Suspension Differences?

I'm waiting for my 17 Trailhawk to arrive so I've been bored haha, and I haven't been able to figure out what the difference in the Trailhawk QL to the standard QL suspension differences.

It was supposed to offer a bit more ground clearance but that doesn't seem to be true, and is supposed to have been tuned a bit more so it didn't clunk as much in OR2 and supposed to have a bit more articulation......

Anyone know what the actual differences are???

Re: Trailhawk Suspension Differences?

Only thing that I've seen/read thus far is that its supposed to provide .4 inches more lift than the standard QL. I'd suspect it'll still ride crazy stiff and still clunk with no more articulation.

Probably just shortened the rubber a little on the bumper stops and called upgraded more travel QL for marketing.

That is exactly what FCA engineers did. But decreasing the amount of rubber they were able to increase the amount of travel. I believe the same was reported by TFL on youtube during EJS 2016.

So trailhawk is really just a paint job and stickers right. Just an ORAII overland with some shorter bumper stops no real functionality change?

Re: Trailhawk Suspension Differences?

You also get the flares and lower cladding from a Laredo. Some nice seats and bright red hooks too. Did that $50k even include a hemi? It's a great looking package though.

Re: Trailhawk Suspension Differences?

I just tried to look it up, it is not listed in their inventory here. Weird. I was just there on Friday or Saturday

But it just looks the part better doesnt really play the part better. They seem to market it as this superior off road option but it just seems to be appearance.

Re: Trailhawk Suspension Differences?

Biggest thing for me is you can get the QD2 with the 3.6 V6 which is what I wanted.....if the suspension is better great if its pretty much the same as other QL models great....plus i like the look of the gray/red/black accents. Plus i get it its a sticker.....but i like the hood decal. Its appearance is packaged similar to my Hard Rock Unlimited.
