upgrading laredo v6/base brake system

I've seen a few threads on upgrading brakes, mostly to Brembo or similar high end options. I have a V6 Laredo without vented rear rotors and I believe smaller calipers to allow the 17" wheels? I am looking for some options on upgrading the braking system, has anybody tried to retrofit the V8 brake setup onto the V6? Don't need a Brembo but would like a beefier setup for towing my boat. I have the 18" wheels now so I should be able to fit the Hemi setup?

Thanks,

they would be direct bolt on. You would need the calip[ers and rotors. ll brake lines are the same from laredo to SRT

Re: upgrading laredo v6/base brake system

You can Thank SUTHER for doing the homework on this for you as I copied it out of that thread.

Here are the three sales codes describing the brakes for the 2011-2012 WK2

- BRY - Standard Anti-Lock Brakes (Front-vented, rear-solid, for 17")
- BR6 - HeavyDuty Anti-Lock Brakes (Front-vented, rear-vented, for 18")
- BR1 - European Anti-Lock Brakes (Front-vented, rear-vented, for 18")

Part list for Front:
Front caliper and brake pads are the same for SD(BRY) and HD(BR6) brakes:

Caliper Assembly (for BRY and BR6):
Right - 68052362AB $156
Left - 68052363AB $156

Brake Pad Kit (for BRY and BR6):
Both - 68052369AA $131 (2x)
Only the adapters for the calipers and the rotors are different:

Adapter Disc Brake Caliper (for BR6):
Both - 68052372AA $22 (2x) 17.24 = 34.48

Rotor (for BR6 and BR1):
Both - 68035012AB $105 (2x) 77.98 = 155.96

Part list for Rear:
