We want OME suspension...

They have the OME 1.5" coil lift for the WK, so I hope they will make them for the WK2 in the near future. Staight up, this is the best ride quality suspension your money can buy. I had a BB at first on my WJ with up-country coils, then upgraded to OME HD coils when the ARB bullbar and winch was added. The ride was so much more solid, level, and I could rail around turns on winding mountain highways. At the beginning of this year, I got a KK Arctic. Switched out the coils to OME HD front and MD rear with JBA's 1/4" strut spacer and 1/8" ISO to rear for a level stance. This netted I a solid 2" with all the armor added and the Liberty drove so much more solid without body roll. I just traded in the KK for a WK2 and added 31.5" GYSA kevlars on Sahara wheels, all the skids, tow hooks, and mopar sliders; I sit a bit lower now with the extra weight and have more of a bouncing feel. For the time being, I might try out the RRO level kit. I know there is enough of us out here that want a solid coil lift suspension that will greatly improve our WK2s ability and lesson the chance of rolling our Jeeps. I see Dobinsons makes a coil kit now for the WK2, but I want the original down under ARB/OME product for all of us sooner then later. I don't want to stack BBs with after market coils because I did try this on the WJ at first and I got Death Wobble, that was the most violent crazy shaking experience driving I ever had .

Re: We want OME suspension...

My Jeep got the RRO level kit installed today with a really good alignment by the local 4X4 shop. What a difference, feels more solid with it level and I don't have the touchy steering with body roll anymore on the mountain roads. I'm stoked with the way it drives ands looks. I can happily wait a few years now as it is, hopefully OME will have some coil kits for our WK2s in the future.

Was your Jeep out of alignment? I can't see a spacer doing anything to help with the handling but it sure as hell looks better.

Joe D, it's highly recommended that when you take apart your whole front end to do an alignment afterwards. I have the RRO level kit as we'll and love it. Will wait until OME comes up with something.

I just had a chat with the purchasing manager from OME. I am excited to report that OME has a front bar for the wk2 that will be on the market very shortly. The full suspension lift is in the works and will most likely be on the market this year.

Your Jeep must have been out of alignment and spec. I also have a 2012 with the V6 and the ORAI package and the steering isnt touchy on or off road and body roll has never been an issue when I have been chasing apexes. Might be suffering from too much salt water on the brain.

Hi all I'm new here. Hope this will come very soon, Here in UAE off-roading suspension is very important and needed it badly.

Thank you for the info. I too will be waiting for the OME suspension. Well worth the wait and money.

Re: We want OME suspension...

I asked the ARB rep on Facebook today about the suspension lift and this was his reply.
"ARB 4x4 Accessories Hi RS, the OME suspension should be available from May/June".
