What do you think? Brake caliper cover question

I'm trying to decide between the red caliper or black brake caliper covers for my jeep. What do you guys think would look better on it? I don't plan on painting them, just getting the cover.

Think black.
Im looking at these black or carbon fiber look with coloured lettering and you can have your own custom words on them.
Not a fan of painted stock calibers and cant afford the brembo upgrade kits.

Re: What do you think? Brake caliper cover question

I think the brake covers are fine, I have a set on my Overland and they helped a lot with brake dust and they look much better than painting the calipers. I usually get a lot of compliments on how they look with my rims.
I really don't get people who make a big deal about them (I guess they are the brake caliper police) but each his own, even if you paint them. Remember it's your truck , my advise is do what you like man!

Like Henry Ford said you can have any color you want as long as it is black. Lol.

Re: What do you think? Brake caliper cover question

I don't think I answered your question the first time...have you thought about silver to change it up some, black wouldn't be bad but something lighter might bring out the wheels a bit, just a thought....

Black looks good though you can get away with the red also. And yes there are a few members who act like they're the caliper police that will chime in with their mindless comments 😎

Those look really nice. The website mentions the possibility of needing a 3mm spacer on certain vehicles. Do you know if our Jeeps are among those requiring the spacer?

Re: What do you think? Brake caliper cover question

I do get a rattle from my front left caliper cover when going over certain bumps. I'm wondering if a spacers for those covers are needed. The other covers are rock solid,I checked them all and they seem to be securely fastened.

Re: What do you think? Brake caliper cover question

179 for plastic covers meant to imitate larger calipers?

You do realize a caliper painted kit is only 30 and will look 100X better than an overpriced piece of plastic?
