I have a 2014 Laredo E, with the stock 17's.
I was going to the mopar route, but I honestly don't like their limited selection of wheels. I'm very specific (it's killing me slowly), as I only want wheels in the 18x8 size.
Here's what I'm looking for; PERFECT FIT, durability/toughness that meets or exceeds the wheels on my vehicle right now, 18x8 (same as limited wheel size).
FRONT AND REAR
Size: 18x8 (O.E. Wheel Size)
Finish: Anthracite Painted
Weight: 26.0 lbs.
Offset: 50mm
I found these wheels in tire rack
They are perfect! But then I started researching. I searched these forums, I read articles explaining how offset, and many other factors could be to the car.
Then I started thinking about how these wheels are often bought by people driving lowered Volkswagon sedans.
I have heard this manufacturer makes some tough wheels, but what's tough? Tough to me is smashing into a pothole in NYC, cursing out loud, and forgetting about it. My Jeep Liberty did it, and this Grand Cherokee did it a few times (I avoid if possible).
I know I'm all over the place on this, my blood pressure is just through the roof from the process. To give you an idea, I smile anytime I see my speedometer match a radar check at a school zone. So I take the OEM specifications seriously. Even if I went for a 20 inch wheel, I would want it to be the same specifications as MOPAR 20's.
