That's why I asked are 2013's the same wheel? They always seem like bright silver on 2013's and a smoky silver on 2014. But it may just be photos.
I saw that ebay deal. No mention of TPMS. So they have to be added and remounted and rebalanced. Plus $175 to ship and weird looking hub covers which need to be replaced.
Well, I guess if you want factory perfect, with all the bells and whistles, you should get a price from your dealer. And if you can find them cheaper anywhere else, grab them. The eBay wheels are way cheaper than factory price, but they do leave a little to be desired. Have you looked in any junk yards? I'm sure there are already a few crashed '13 and '14s in the larger metropolitan areas.
I found a one week of use take offs from a limited for $900 (that was the price for wheels, tires, caps, nuts, the entire package...) Ended up paying $500 for only the wheels + $50 tpms on ebay. I think that was a great price, and not really easy to find! ebay prices are around $1300 which is already much better than dealer prices...
the 14 Limited/ORAII wheels are different than the 13 wheels, they are darker, like a darker grey color instead of the bright silver color.
keep looking on ebay and craigslist, sooner or later you will find it, I think most of the people are replacing the 18" for 20" on Limited model, that was the case for the ones I got...
I ended up getting these that were very reasonably priced.
They are 2014 New Take-Offs from a Durango and I like the wheel as Much as the Limited. Exact same size. Nice little change for the season. I still need to get TPMS though.
Trying to decide between Nokian Snows and Michelin X-Ice. I think I'll got with X-Ice. They sound like they are really good on dry roads, which is 95% of the time even in bad winters in NH/MA. I've had great luck with both brands in the past.

Nice wheels! Great for the second set! The price can't get much better than that, nice deal!
I'm also looking for snow tires! The dry/wet performance of the x-ice is also making me go for it, even though not the best ice/slush traction based on what I've read. But even though I drive up to the mountains every weekend, the city is mostly dry during the winter, with a few storms! Same for when driving to SLC, highway and city are usually dry while the cottonwood region is getting a dump! The x-ice is pretty expensive though, compared to blizzaks
which nokian were you looking at? for how much did you find it?
also are you keeping 265/60/18? I would check to see if I could go 255/65/18 or 245/65/18, but not really sure this is a good idea!
I was all set to get the X-Ice tires and noticed they don't make an X-Ice Xi3 in 265/65R18 only Xi2. The Xi3 is a much better tire. And that is what folks are comparing to Nokians and Blizzaks these days.
there is no latitude xi3 that's too bad, since xi3 is the next step up from michelin!
The nokians gets wonderful comments from everyone on the web, and most people complain about the 55% special compound on the blizzaks, although not sure I've heard the blizzaks have a higher tread than the nokians, have no idea if this is true or not and the special compound would go up to 6.5/32 in the tread, but who knows...
the thing is the blizzaks are about $75 less per tire than the price I've found on the nokians which are about $250 the blizzaks are $175+ rebate on tirerack
I have a 14 grand cherokee limited and live in Ottawa Canada and looking at 265/60/18 winter tires and non-steel rims. Got a price of $2,160 cdn with no tpms - Michelin x ice from the dealer. Looking for another price and if anyone has any referrals that wud be great - Jim
I am buying Nokian XL 114 Rotllva BSW for just under $1000 for my GC Limited due to be shipped within the next 10 days from the factory.
Removing stock tires as most of driving is off road.
Price from Tire Factory!
I paid $230.00 per Tire for Nokian R2's Free Shipping, No Tax.
I paid $725.00 for 4 2014 18" Durango Take-Off Wheels with new Latitude Tires (no TPMS) plus $175.00 Shipping
I paid $50.00 for 4 OEM TPMS Sensors EBay.
I still have to get everything Mounted and Balanced
Got my R2 ordered at Discount Tires ($213 each + $16 to install) Time to buy some TPMS, do you still have the link to the seller you bought the tpms from?
18" Nokian R2's on Durango Wheels. So far they seem quiet and vibration free but I've only had them up to 60 MPH or so, so far. Wheels don't look too bad. I was gonna swap the dodge hub cap, but I think I'll leave them.
haven't tried mine yet but that's my understanding, since you can have overland/limited v8 with 18" wheels... and this is not true for 17" v8 that you can't buy
Just managed to pick up a set from a member for 350$ with 3000 miles on them with the tpms sensors. The deals are out there. Just got to keep ur eyes open.
Nokian 265/60R 18 XL 114 T Rotiiva BSW w/spin and mount $1100. Full Road hazard.
I am trading in the Michelin Latitude Tours that come with the GC. 500 credit. Did get a rebate of $140 from The Tire Factory promotion.
Suggest as others to keep an eye out on craigslist for takeoffs. Ive had great luck outfitting my 2013 Laredo. I sold my OEM 17's for $400 on Craigslist and...
bought a set of polished chrome 18" rims from a 2012 Overland with Michelin Latitudes for $400 (they had 15K on them). They came equipped with TPMS.
Yesterday I bought five 17" Rubicon / Moab rims with 245/75/R17 Goodyear Silent Armors from a 2013 Wrangler for $800. These have 2K on them and came with TPMS as well which paired up with the GC no problem.
Now I have Overland's for the summer and Rubicon's for the winter for the right price of $800. Caveat being I will need to buy new rubber for the Overland rims next spring. But in the meantime with some luck I may be able to find some Overland 20's with good rubber and sell my 18's to help offset their cost
thanks! just got this one... should get my tires in the first week of December! Dry roads around here right now... putting the tires before going to Wyoming second week of December!
