What is the difference between suspension codes (ZYR, ZTY etc)?

Hello everybody!

I got 2012 Overland with Air Suspension (code SER), but do not know if if has Auto leveling (code SES, I assume - not as I have TOKICO absorbers). I am second owner.

I was trying to understand the diffrence between several shock absorbers and air suspension offered on mopar. It is really important as they priced 4-5 times differently

For example:

Shock Absorbers:
Part #, Part descr., Price
68069 680AB Left, [SDX] $762
68069 675AD [SDA], [SER] Without [SES] $84
No mistake here - the first one costs 762 per item, the second - 84....
As I understand the first one is with/for auto leveling system, the second is not, so if I do not have auto leveling system I can purchase the second one.

Air Suspension Spring:
68029 912AE [ZYR] $502
68029 868AD [ZTY],[SES] $123
Again, 4 times price difference.... and there are like a dozen more air suspension springs priced around $110-120.

Does anybody know if I can use a cheaper one? What is the difference between these air springs?

Many thanks in advance for your answers!

QL essentially is load-leveling inherent to it's function. The load-leveling shocks used with the tow option for non QL vehicles are going to cost more than "regular" shocks. Outside of that, I can't tell you anything about the specific part numbers...

Thanks! What is "QL" btw? :)

I understand the difference for shocks, but any ideas on air springs? I thought it should be no difference.... but looks like air spring for the model with auto leveling costs less than the same for a car which doesn't have it...
I wonder why? How they are connected?

Do we have anybody from Jeep/Chrysler tech here to help understand it? :)
