At full lock I have slight rubbing with my 275/55r20 ltx ms2 tires in sport mode and lower. In sport mode it is just the felt. I wouldn't go any bigger.

Re: What is the largest tire I can get on a WK2 Overland w/ 20" rims and QL? I really

Hello All,
Has anyone given the new-ish BFG KO2's a try yet on a QL Grand Cherokee? 275/55r20s specifically... I have seen in their specs that they run 1/10 of an inch smaller than standard OD for that size (31.81 instead of 31.91) which doesn't sound like much with with how hit or miss this tier size on a stock QL, it could be the difference. What do you think the best wheel offset would be for that size?

Thanks!

Hi BobbyCraig,

Yes, I just had BFG AT TA K02 275/55/r20's installed three hours ago on my 2013 JGC (5.7L Hemi) Overland with skids and they do NOT rub at all even in park.

Pics please these seem to be best tire for this vehicle. Couple people have said light rub, others none. If only entry/exit not worried really.

here are a few pics (BFG 275/55/r20 AT TAK02's) no rub even in park and I love the tires.

Dunno why upside down ...

Thanks Old Grisly for the quick reply!

They look awesome, huge upgrade from the forteras. Looks like the pictures are taken with QL in standard height... is that correct? if you think about it after a few days of driving around let us know how its going! I read in a few other forums that backing up with the wheel slightly turned has caused some light rubbing with this size (not specifically the KO2s). really any drive time feed back would be much appreciated.

Thanks again!

yes, I run in standard height most of the time, that pic was standard height. I tried the backing up and forward again, both directions full over, no rub. Even over bumps, I detect no rub. I think you would be good to go with these.

They are not cheap and les schwab had to special order them but they do such a great job mounting balancing, dealing with any issues, etc, I use them all the time.

I just don't know why pics are upside down! I flipped this upside down on my computer then attached/uploaded it, its still upside down on the forum!

Also, While driving home from getting tires mounted, I paid attention to steering - tighter as new tires would give you, less noise actually, we will see as they wear off, and handling was flatter, not as much moosh while turning. These tires are much tougher/thicker/stiffer than the fortress so that makes some sense as well.

Interesting that a taller sidewall tire can be stiffer for corners. Good to know! I really want some 275/55r20's with the snowflake symbol so I can go through passes in the winter. It's the K02's or Duratracs...
