Re: What Rims Look Best On 2011 Body Style?

IMO, both the 20 reps that Rad has above and the stock wk2 20's are the best jeep wheels ever. Both have sharp street look without going too far into rubber band tire arena. I also really like the vipers. Others have found some dish which is slick old skool. +1 for the mopar 18's if you have trail in mind or rougher winter conditions.

Stock offset is +56.4 with 5x127 bolt pattern. You can go with less offset say +40ish without sticking too far out of wheel well.

Radside'sWK SRT8 rim's make the new WK2 look even sexier than it already is. I don't really think there's anything else than can compare. Unless you're loaded and can afford something completely custom. But that's just my opinion.

Agreed. I like the style, but I think I would put some bigger tires on there. Just to fill out the wheel wells more.

I am kinda partial to the JK Sahara 18" wheels I put on though. Way better than the stock 18's in my opinion. Plus the 32" tire fills the wheel well a lot better.

Either the stock size or 275/55/20 to fill out the wheel well more. I originally had 275/45/20's...they were nice but I wanted a little more sidewall and to fill the wheel well a bit more.

Re: What Rims Look Best On 2011 Body Style?

If you are going to go with a none factory rim then go that route. Personally putting an old rim or a rim from another model on a NBS makes the car take on the look over the older models. I say keep it new, keep it fresh and leave the dated rims off of the WKII. (I know comments on rim choices get people all riled up, but hey its all personal taste)

This late in the game I would see if there are any changes for the 2012's or wait for the 2012 SRT8 rims.

We are an open forum to any wheel style or size etc. Usually the hate about wheel size comes from newbs who havent been here very long...or the offroad crowd who just comes here to stir shit. We are a very well balanced forum of offroad and street guys who are working together and dont hate on each other over wheel/tire sizes. 18's look good and 22's look good on the 2011 and everything in between. Your gonna get lots of opinions.
That's right. You sissy boys can keep your pretty little Jeeps on the street. Us in the offroad crowd will use it like it's made to be used.

OK, probably not... just came back from a trip to Vegas and rented a JK Wrangler. I realized that I probably wouldn't have taken my '11 Overland the places I took that JK. Not that this vehicle couldn't tackle the mountains, but that I realized that I like it nice and shiny right now. When I brought it back to the rental place, they weren't too happy, but I told them upfront the JK was going offroad. (good thing I bought the insurance)

Funny story, we were offroading in Southern Nevada near the Cali border. Came over the top of a hill crest and see a few quads parked and only see a girl sitting on a rock overlooking the valley and I-15 in the distance. I wondered where the hell the guy was for a few seconds until he popped his head up to look at us while it was between her legs. I simply gave him the and turned around. The missus asked me "did you just give him a thumbs up"? Why yes, yes I did.

/the things you see when you're offroad
//to answer the OP's question... whatever rims and tires *you* think look best, not anyone else
