Wheel Check

I have a 2014 JGC Laredo 4x4. Stock tires are 245/70/17s.

I want to buy new tires and wheels but want to verify they will fit without lifting the Jeep (maybe later).

At Discount Tire Direct, when I put in my vehicle, they give me three options for wheels that will fit. One of them is this one: Custom wheels for your 2014 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE made by MB Wheels

but the one I want to buy is this one MB Wheels 17 inch custom rims which does not appear in my options.

They appear to me to be identical except for the color.

I first thought the offset was the issue, but the first one has the +18 offset too.

Question is: Am I missing something or will this wheel fit?

Next question, related, is: Will increasing the offset to push farther out than stock give me any issues?

Plan is to get the same size tires in Cooper Discoverer ATP and put them on myself.

I really appreciate the feedback.

Re: Wheel Check

the only guess is that maybe the one that 'doesnt' fit is because the rim is a little thicker for that design and there's brake caliper clearance issues (?) - only thing I can think of given the bolt pattern, size/width, and offset are the same.

since you're in 17" rims I gather you don't have HD brakes, but not sure if even the standard brakes are close to the 17" rims in which case it could be an issue for fitment

as far as 'problems' - for a minor change probably wouldn't really be any, but there's always the chance that you'll have rubbing issues , doubt a +18 would be a problem though

Thanks for the reply. Makes sense.
