A few months ago, I upgraded my 17 Overland with 265/70/17 KO2's on Rubicon wheels. It has been a solid change that I remain happy with. However I still hope to widen the stance. I had considered wheel spacers, but am just not in love with this idea.

I like the style of the Pro-Comp 7036. But I am not sure if it will ultimately push the tires out further then desired. Do any folks with stock height WK2 with this set up? I would love to see any images that convey how this sits.

In the end, I may end up the spacer route - but hoping to see what other "17 wheel options that folks may be pleased with.

Rubicon Wheels are 17x7.5 with 44 offset.
Pro Comp 7036 are 17x9 with -6 offset.

I believe that if those numbers are correct, the Pro Comp setup would push your wheels out 50mm, or about 2 inches closer to the fender which may be too aggressive.

Most people seem to be running a 1.25 spacer with the Rubicon wheels, which from what I have seen looks great.

I could be mistaken, but 50mm (2") accounts for the change in offset only. You would also have to add half of the additional width of the new wheel, so .75" on either side of the centre line of the wheel.

For all intents and purposes, the OEM Overland wheels are 20x8 et 56, so about the same offset as the Rubicon wheels.

The wheels will stick out by approximately 2.75" more than the Rubicon wheels, if all offsets quoted by DriverMods are accurate, and that's a lot! I have OEM Spyder Monkeys, which are 20x10 ET 50 (they stick out approximately 1.25" more than the stock wheels) and they're flush with the fenders:

2.75 may cause rubbing, as they'd stick out another 1.5" compared to the wheels pictured above, but finding someone with actual experience would confirm this!
