Re: Wheel Fitment with Brembo Calipers?

Nice design. Hope will suit brembos with 9" and 35 offset. Rear break lines might be required to be switched to genuine srt ones or junction place needs some hand work to adjust. Just to cut of some metal from the original line junction as they are a little bit different concerning position on srt and stock calipers.

Is the brake line junction to wide to fit the Brembo? It looks like you shaved off some of the side.

Wheel Fitment with Brembo Calipers?

Needs to be shaved off. Job was not mine.
I couldn't explain in details but it will be clear when car mechanic will do his job. Not complicated at all.
Lets say that support (or stoping piece of metal at the brembo caliper, preventing brake line from circling when tightening) is located at the other side than at the stock caliper. So the joint at the line needs light modification with hone tool to be fitted.
Note that the whole in the joint should be temporary plugged up. When hone the joint.
In that case the job was done with handy tool with abrasive disk. For more safety mechanic shall think how fix the joint when hone with electrical abrasive tool. And do not overheating the joint.
Let professionals do that. It shouldn't be expensive.
As an alternative option even suitable sport universal lines with round junction might be chosen. I heard they also fits.
Whatever you decide. That is all what people have been doing. What I heard.
I am also thinking to do such mods. So I investigated that.
