Wheel nut covers

I'm planning to paint my 20" rims in Brilliant Black very soon and have been looking for some wheel nut covers to put over the chrome nuts after I'm done, so they don't look like crap with the chrome showing.
I'm having trouble finding anything that will fit the 22mm wheel nuts that are on the WK2.
Anyone found some or any other solutions that get rid of the chrome look of the nuts?

I'm not going to paint the tops of the nuts if I can avoid it. Paint on chrome is hard to make it last, especially with tyre fitters and their rattle guns..

Re: Wheel nut covers

Might be easier to find some black lug nuts.

Re: Wheel nut covers

I don't know if those will fit his 2012. It says will fit Jeeps up to 2010.

Compatability.......

This part is not compatible with 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

I just purchased some black chrome wheels from OE Wheels in Florida and they came with black lugs and locking lugs. Call them and talk to Scott, he will set you up. 1-866-273-3651

Cheers,
just sent them an email, will see how much shipping is to Australia.
Fingers crossed it isn't too dear.

If you find that shipping is too much try looking for Gorilla Lug nuts. The correct pattern for our Jeeps is 14mm x 1.5" Here are a couple of amazon US links for lug nuts in the correct size. I personally prefer link #1 where every lug is a lock but I'm a bit over protective, you'd probably be fine with link #2 and a set of locks (link #3)

Amazon.com: Gorilla Automotive 71643NBC Black 14mm x 1.5 Wheel Lock, (Pack of 20): Automotive
Amazon.com: Gorilla Automotive 91147BC Acorn Bulge Seat Black Chrome Lug Nuts (14mm x 1.50" Thread Size): Automotive (sold in packs of 4)

Gorilla Automotive 71641NBC Wheel Lock System : Amazon.com : Automotive

I realize Amazon states that these don't fit our Jeeps but I bought link #1 in chrome for my Jeep and it fits perfectly
