Wheel Preferences

Looking to throw a nice set of wheels on my new GC Overland in the spring. I see alot of people running 22x10.5 all around. I was gonna go with a 22x10.5 34 offset. I'm just concerned will they stick out of the wheel wells much? I have only seen angle shots so cant judge how much they poke. I could go with a 22x9" so they sit tucked under nicely like stock.

Re: Wheel Preferences

I went with 22x10's with a 45mm offset & 305-35-22's & my wheels/tires are nicely tucked under the fender.

I think with 34mm offset they're gonna stick out more especially with the 22x10.5's that you're looking.

Re: Wheel Preferences

I'm on the 6th set of wheels on my 2014 GC and I've had a mix of 20"s and 22"s ...on the 22's I've only tried the 22x10" and with 305's they do stick out a little bit...but if you do 295's they are not that bad...with a ~+30 offset that is ...I just received a set of Lexani 22"s today...not sure what offset they are exactly but I think the'yre around +25 and I was told they'd probably stick out about 1/2" from the wells...we'll see soon enough

I need to see what you have in your "wheel supply inventory". Might have something I'm looking for, LOL

Nah...you wouldn't want any of the wheels I have..lol

I had my spare set of 22"s stolen...long story..

I only have a couple sets of 20"s sitting around now...I'd recommend taking a look at the lexani stuff..good price and very good quality

I've got 2 sets of the 20" spider monkey SRT knock off wheels you can buy off ebay and they are actually pretty nice for the money ..they sell those in 22"s as well if you want the srt look

like these...the first pic is chrome and the second is the "hyper silver" color

Re: Wheel Preferences

I used a wheel size calculator and 10.5"/34 offset is 1.75" poke & 9"/25 offset is 1.4" poke over stock. so guess I'll do my measurements and go from there. thanks again

I hear ya...but I've been working on making mine look like and perform like an SRT

BUT...I really got those wheels because I knew they'd clear the SRT brembo brakes I put on...

This is whats going on in the spring...with a set of Toyo Proxes ST2 in 305/40/22 size
