Does anyone know where I can find 4 20 X 10 chrome 5 spoke wheels 50 offset? I bought 4 from Factory Reproductions and 3 out of the 4 were out of round. Sent them back and they checked them and confirmed they were no good... They checked what they had left on a pallet and just emailed me and they said they had none that where good. They are returning my money but now I have 4 295/45/20 tires with no wheels to put them on. I don't trust Ebay when it comes to wheels...

Or Quadratec Jeep Parts & Jeep Accessories From The Jeep Parts Experts - Quadratec

That's shocking that Factory Reproductions would have problems with their products. I thought they were the "Go to" place for most people on this forums looking for SRT reps.

Re: Wheels

That is what I thought too. 3 out of the 4 were so far out of round they looked like and egg spinning. They did return my money fast and also paid for my out of pocket expense... Great company...They checked the other wheels they had on a pallet and they were all bad. They said they are having the new ones built in another factory. I have until spring to make a decision on what and where to get them.

Reps are reps... You get what you pay for. The quality control is one step reps skimp on big time.

Plenty of people have reps just they know the risks of running them and are comfortable using them. In my experiance vibrations due to balancing issues plague reps. Sometimes people get lucky sometimes people don't.

Re: Wheels

Well if they are balanced correctly shouldn't that solve the vibration problem?

A lot of times the problem is they can't be balanced because of the low quality control casting process. The wheel may be perfectly round but not evenly cast throwing the weight off more than you can balance. This also can be a major problem because the wheel is weaker in some areas making them more prone to cracking or totally failing which could result in a terrible accident as you can imagine...

There is a reason OEM wheels cost more. The Reps look great and a lot of times work out. Just sometimes they don't and thats part of the risk of running reps that most people just end up accepting.

Hello guys,

I used to own many different Japanese offroaders in the near past, but I truly love my 2014 grand cherokee more than any other 4x4 SUV that I ever had! Amazing in every aspect! However the only major difference compared to the Japanese ones is the ride comfort. I can feel every little hump on the road with the significantly stiffer stock suspension. Is there any possible way to make it a softer ride? Any recommendations for an aftermarket suspension that could make my jeep more fluid on the road?

Thanks!

Re: Wheels

I traded my Lexus GX470 which had very comfortable ride but as soon as the roads got a little bumpy it would almost bottom out. It had air ride and 3 different ride comfort options via a selector switch. But I couldn't tell the difference between soft and firm.

I really believe that it's a seat firmness issue. A lot of people around here have complained about how firm the seat are. I was in a Mini van this morning (I know, I know) but man were they comfy. The ride and seats made the journey enjoyable. On the other hand I love the cornering and handling of the Jeep. Way better than the Lexus and that mini van.

I don't think you can have the best of both worlds. An old school caddy had a ride like it was floating on air but cornered like it was a boat. A new Caddy coupe ....whole different deal.

My 2 cents
