Finally narrowed down my wheel search (for now) on my black 2014 Limited, and am looking for a little input from you all. 2 options in 20", and 2 in 22". All 20" wheels would get 295/45/20 tires and the 22" would be 285/40/22...thinking either Toyo Proxes STII or Hankook Ventus RH06.
20x10 Black Di Forza BM-4 Titanium: Offered in 25mm to 45mm offset in 5mm increments...what would be the "best" offset to use?
20x10 XO Verona All Matte Gunmetal: Also offered in 25mm to 45mm offset in 5mm increments...what would be the "best" offset to use?
I was thinking for a 10" wide wheel that a 35-40mm offset would be the best option. The ONLY thing leaning me to a 20" wheel is the added side wall, although it's not much of an increase.
The Niche Intake is top of my list thus far looks wise.
I like how the inner barrels of the niche are black. I like those Black Forzas too. I was looking at the XO Athens for my Black Summit, but I Now am leaning towards the XO Caracas , 22 x 10.5 all the way around. I found some that have a gunmetal gray barrel and mirror face.. I wanted some chrome in my wheels to go with the chrome accents on my Summit...
20" or 22" , I would go at least 10" wide.. but that's just me
Let us know when you pick one and post pics when you get them on
Thanks guys, appreciate the input. Scott, I agree, those Verona's are pretty nice and provide a good contrast with the black paint. What would you suggest for an offset? I was leaning toward either 35 or 40 on the 10" wide wheel just don't want to run into rubbing with the 295/45 tires.
That package comes to $2300 mounted, balanced, shipped...I'd say that's pretty good.
Correction to my last, I meant to ask if +50 on a 20x10 would cause issues...I see a lot of SRT replicas with these measurements, but also see +35 for some 20x10 wheels.
Yeah, with how the roads are around here I'm leaning more toward a 20" wheel for sure. I'm still trying to figure out if I can fit a 295 wide tire on a 9" wheel.
OK, so after a lot of debating I think I've decided...and it's not any of the wheels I've listed.
I don't see too many WK2 Jeeps with the WK1 (?) SRT wheels, and figured it would look pretty good on my black Jeep especially after I get the SRT springs installed.
20x10, +50 on 295/45/20 Toyo Proxes STII....just under $1550 mounted and balanced out the door including black lug nuts.
Being that these wheels are grey, I may toy with the idea of adding some grey accents to my Jeep (front/rear badges, tail light bezels, and window trim)
I'm hoping so, coupled with the SRT springs and Bilstein shocks/struts I'm anxious to get everything done. Maybe a larger rear sway bar too to help with some of the body roll.
