Re: Wheels, Wheels, Wheels, Post Em Up

I want to use my current tires to save $$. Was a little worried that a 10" wheel would make the tires looked "stretched" a bit since my stock wheels are only 8" wide.

Man, you could open up a small wheel store with your collection

Are you doing the SRT8 or SRT reps?

Re: Wheels, Wheels, Wheels, Post Em Up

the size is perfect with that offset sits nicely just under the fenders. The truck looks so much better with 22's they fill the wheel well and when i put it up with the QL suspension still have room for clearance.

I originally went 20x9 for that same reason - slightly wider stance. Stocks wheels had like 10k miles on them and wasn't ready to throw down for a new set of tires. 20x10 was pushing it on the stock rubber.

Only problem I have with that is now you're stuck with a set of rims that really aren't made for the fat 295's or 305's ...so you're kind of limited in how wide you can go with a set of tires in the future ...I've always just accepted that you either use the stock tires for snows or sell them ...

Huh?...295's fit perfectly on a 20x9.
It actually gives more sidewall (curb rash) protection than a 20x10.

well...I stand corrected...I just don't think I could use 20x9"s because of the Brembos ...so I never really considered those as an option ..I just buy the 20x10"s as I know they work

Re: Wheels, Wheels, Wheels, Post Em Up

I'm looking to put either the 20x9 black chrome SRT replicas on or the 18" replicas. Both have a +34 offset and what I have on now are the factory 5 spoke 18" with a 56 offset. If I'm not mistaken the +34 with no spacer would be equal to the 56 with a 1.5" spacer? Anyone know for sure?

A 1.5" spacer is equal to 38.1mm.
