I'm in the process of removing all traces of chrome from my '14 Limited in Max. Steel. All emblems have been ordered, as well as the honeycomb grille. I have an appointment in a few weeks to have the window trim, roof rails, fog and tail light bezels, lower fascia, step pad surround, and grille rings wrapped in gloss black vinyl. I have the vin number of a Max Steel Altitude so I can order the door handles and mirrors. The only thing I'm a little stuck on is the wheels. I have narrowed it down to the 20x8 gloss black Overland wheel and a 20x9 SRT wheel. The 20x9 has a 35 offset which should eliminate the need for spacers to flush out the wheels. The 20x8 , at least to me looks a little nicer. Just looking for some opinions or even better, pictures...
Understood. On the flip side of that, since you're removing all other chrome from the vehicle it would really make these pop and stand out nicely.
Kind of how I always felt about how OWL tires always seem to detract or take your eyes away from the wheel itself. Nothing makes a wheel look better than blackwall tires.
It's your vehicle though. The only person you have to please is yourself.
