the stock tire you have is a 265/60/18?

If thats accurate then the 295/50/20 and the stock tire is close enough where you could use the stock as a spare

I know some have said the spider monkeys are a bear too keep clean, but damn, I like them! Like you, I dig the detail of them too.

Still debating on a gloss black set for me.

Re: Which style wheel to choose?

Thanks Attitude, I got these on ebay from Top Custom Wheels. These wheels are made in China and seem to be the same manufacturer that supplies OE Creations. OE Creation wheels are used by NTB, and Tire Rack as well as other places. These rims are supposedly VIA and TUV certified, which I read is very good to have. They do have a VIA stamp inside of them. I researched this way too much. I believe Ajag has also purchased from Top Custom Wheels as well.

These are 20x9 rims. I have also read they are tough to keep clean and while I like a clean car I do sometimes lapse in keeping it clean.

They sure look good on there!
Are they the 37mm offset or do you recall?

Re: Which style wheel to choose?

Hey Mr. 'tude,

It is a 34mm offset with 6.34" backspacing. Glad you like, it does fill the wheel space in nicely, but sometimes when I look at it I think "those tires are large". I have noticed an 1-2 MPG decrease I believe, but between the colder weather, working with a different tune from Sean at HemiFever, new rims and tires it could be any of these factors. But the decrease was kinda expected considering I came from 18's. The Jeep handles nicer on cornering and the Coopers are nice and quiet. Maybe a bit more noise on the highway with the radio off is noticeable. But I usually have the radio on and semi-loud LOL.

I bit frustrated NTB did not use the chrome valve stems and used black standard ones. I think they forget about them in the box.

Thanks Ajag. Your Jeep always looks good. Next will be the replacing the chrome brow with the black one that I have sitting in my garage.

Re: Which style wheel to choose?

I've been in Nebraska since 2000. I really love this Midwest lifestyle. Originally from California, northern Cali, much colder than So Cal.

Re: Which style wheel to choose?

I really likes Colorado as well. Could ski almost year round, I could golf year round and did not have to shovel much snow in the Denver burbs. Had to come back to MA for family stuff.

I still like the tires and rims but do notice a mileage drop off of maybe 1-2 MPG from the stock 18"s.
