White WK2 QL Overland W/ JK Polar Edition 18" takeoffs

So a bit of a backround here, I just traded the Wifes 06 Hemi Limited commander with a 2" OME lift for this WK2 Overland last thursday. Where I live we were expecting over 2 feet of snow starting friday and I had my doubts about the factory 20" wheel/tire combo so I decided to swap the JK polar edition 18" wheels and tires about one hour before the snow started to come down..
The wheels look pretty factory but give me just a bit of extra ground clearance with the quadra lift.. I did not notice any rubbing at all but have not tried the park/entry mode yet either. Overall I think they are going to be a good winter wheel/tire combo with some more aggressive rubber, but they seemed to do pretty well considering. I ended up driving to work 40 miles saturday night through some unplowed roads and some snow banks that had snow coming over the hood lol..
What do you guys think? I really could have used some sort of override for this QL speed/lift nanny as I had to keep slowing down and raising to OR2.. Also, snow mode does not allow OR1 or OR2? What kinda crap is that lol..
Other then that I really do love the Quadra lift, I just hope it does not break..

Re: White WK2 QL Overland W/ JK Polar Edition 18" takeoffs

It seems to sit a bit higher, how does it ride compared to the stock rims and tires?

Hi - you can get a QL override from Llams PTY LTD

I have one and am pretty impressed with it. I can set the height at any speed.

The LLAMS system has a separate rotary control that allows you to select 4 separate modes, which are similar to the original levels.
