But going forward, you should ALWAYS take pictures and/or video of your vehicle inside & out prior to dropping it off at a dealership, service center, or repair shop.

Most cellphones have cameras... Use Them!

I document that all features & functions are properly working before getting my vehicle serviced. I also document how it looks inside & out.

It's the only way to be sure.

I have kinda been doing a walk around with them but as of late had not been doing it. Since they know I'm really particular they've been really good about not scarfing stuff up. Guess I'm just going to start up again, that way there can be no misunderstandings.

Sometimes it's hard to do a real through walk around when it's done being serviced due to a dirty vehicle. I've went back the day after and told them about stuff and they've been good about covering it if they know their techs did it.

Better safe than sorry tho in proving it was pristine when it went in. Seems likely I'll never know for sure but I probably did do the damage.

Thanks!
