Who has a +12 or -12 offset wheel

I've been searching the threads for this info and am missing it or its not there.
I have rocky Road level kit with 31.5 a/t's and stock 18" wheels (56mm offset,6-1/4" backspace ? )

Thinking on some 18x9's with the 12+ offset and 5.5 backspace or -12 and 4.5 backspace and wondering if this will work ?

Also,
I am not good at math .
I know there are a ton of articles on backspace/offset but... its still confusing so I was wondering how much further my wheels will stick out with the +12 offset,18x9,and 5.5 backspace or the -12's vs my stockers with the 1.25" spacers I have on now ?

thanks anyone

Re: Who has a +12 offset wheel

if you have 18x8 +56 and go to 18x9 +12
you gain 31mm on the inside and you stick out an additional 57mm

Including the spacer in the measurements it changes to
no change inside, +25mm outward

Are you saying with the spacer it would be an additional 57mm PLUS 25mm = 82mm ??

The reason I ask is ; your 1st calculation I could take the 1.25" spacers off and live with the 2.24 " that = 57mm .
That will only make the wheels stick out another inch.
If I can get away with the additional 31mm on the inside .

The problem is i've been looking at wheels for over a year to break up my silver with silver stockers and have only seen one kind I like and +12 is the only offset they come in
The shops have inflated prices and wont mount one for a visual so I have to buy one on the internet. pay for mounting , test drive , see if it rubs and then chaulk it up as a loss if it does . Or try to sell it on ebay

Im saying what I said. lol.

yes, if you go to a 9" wheel with a +12 and then keep your big spacer...you will be stanced like a mofo. the 9" wheel and +12 offset is a great look and near perfect IMO. no spacer needed

And to answer the next question from the other big sled, I never had a rub. at least not one I didnt enjoy
