Why is it so hard to unload a set of mint 18's?

Seems like no one has interest I bought my 20's thinking someone would jump on a set of 18's for off road/trail stuff... Did I miss something?

The demand goes up and down, can take a month or two for someone with 20s that wants a set of OEM 18s for winter/off road to show up.

Re: Why is it so hard to unload a set of mint 18's?

I had my 20s for sale on clist for a month and no actual bites. Ended up deciding to keep them and throw some winter tires on them. I figured someone with the 17s or 18s would be quick to jump on them. But no luck.

Too hard and expensive to ship, and most local buyers don't care. 20's or 17's would probably be easier to unload. People want to 20s for looks, or 17s for snow/wheeling.

Re: Why is it so hard to unload a set of mint 18's?

They are common wheels that only seem to properly fit the WK2. Most Wk2 owners are upgrading from these wheels as well, so your only real market is Laredo owner's w/ 17's. I picked up a set of these OEM 18" wheels, tires and TPMS for $400. It's even harder to sell the 17s. You will get more for them separating wheel from tire and selling them individually.
