I'm going to put 285/50/20 Cooper Zeon LTZ on some 20X9 wheels. I've had two Range Rover Sports with the Cooper Zeon tires. They are great!!! I got over 50K miles out of a set on the first Rover. Replaced it with a 2008 Rover Sport and put the tires on last year. Purchased a 2005 Cayenne Turbo (with advanced off-road package) and put the Coopers on that as well. Selling the Cayenne to get a 2012 JGC Overland.

That was the only reason I was going to order up the Off Road II package - to get the Limited Slip.
But when I checked it a little further, I found out that here in Canada when we order the 5.7 Hemi option on the Overland we automatically get:
Quadra-Drive II
ELSD
Trailer Tow Group IV (and all the goodies that come with that)

So since I will not be doing any serious rock/hill climbing, I opted not to get the OR II package.

So come order your Overlands here.
(oh, but one thing - the Summit edition is not avail in Canada)

I like the Nitto Terra Grapplers 275/55/20 they are 1.5 inch taller and had decent aggressive design.

Does anybody know if there is "real" reason why there is no package for 20"s?

Thanks,

  • 18x8.0" Aluminum Polished Wheels
  • P265/60r18 Owl Michelin On/off Road Tires
  • Skid Plate Group (Fuel Tank, Transfer Case, Front Suspension, Underbody)
  • Tow Hooks
  • Trail Rated Badge
Simple 20's are not safe for Off Road . Why not get the ORA2 Package with 18's and get the 20's after you will have the best of both worlds. If you have the dealer install armor it will cost you more and hope its done to your expectations. Just one opinion of many.
