Re: Will these TPMS work?

I don't understand why the TPMS sensors are different on the SRT vs the Non-SRT tires/wheels.

Why would you want to put srt sensors on a non srt jeep? The non srt sensors will work in srt wheels.

Re: Will these TPMS work?

bringing up an old topic, but I want clarification
Do the 56029398AB work on the 14's? One post in this thread says they are for the 11-13, another post using JustforJeeps as a reference states they should work, but are not for the SRT...

There is also a review on Amazon that says they work perfectly on his 14 Grand Cherokee

Good question...

I bought a set of these sensor for my winter wheel/tire set. I had them installed in the wheels in early fall. When I installed the winter set on the Jeep a week ago, the vehicle did not recognize the sensors.

Some people say I need to have the sensors programmed to the ECM...Anyone have any insight?

TPMS system learns new sensors automatically after driving above certain speed (15 mph?) for about 15 min. I recently had them replaced and this is exactly what happened. No programming was needed in my '11 WK2. If they don't work they are probably not good (dead battery?)
