WK2 Dobinsons Lift

I recently received my Dobinsons Spring and Shocks lift kit. I started off trying to install the rear but I found that the the kit wasn't working for me. Turns out I have the 4x4 model and I was missing the top adapter that goes on top of the rear shocks. After looking at it, it seems that I was going to loose travel going this route. I called the distributer and returned the order. They were really awesome about the whole thing and gave me my refund. I'm told that these kits work great on the 4x2 models and have been installed on the 4x4 models with no problems. I just didn't want to give up travel and I wasn't sure if the top adapter was going to add lift.

I think I'm going to try the RRO Level kit with some type of rear spring spacer to give me around a 1" lift in the rear. I'd like a to keep a little bit of a rake on it. Here's a shot of the Shocks.

No, I haven't. I just looked ones that had a U.S. distributor. Thanks for the link. I'll check it out

Re: WK2 Dobinsons Lift

I'm wondering about the same thing. I have the RRO level kit but would like to find a 1" spacer for the rear to keep a slight rake. Haven't found anything as of yet. Anyone else have any luck?

I don't think there is anything available for the WK2 but some guys are using TJ spacers that apparently fit on back.

Here is how the installation goes:

Re: WK2 Dobinsons Lift

Yes the bulbar does include a 9500lb winch, the bar its self is quite lite as its aluminum, the cradle the winch and bar attach to is steel and very solid, weights are on the Murchison Products web site
