WK2 Grand Cherokee suspension travel

I thought I'd post this as it may be of interest to some. According to Chrystler the WK2 has 8.7" of front wheel travel and the backs have 10.2".

I also installed Bilstein 5100s and gained an additional 2" of droop wheel travel so I now have an estimated 10.7" of wheel travel on the fronts.

In the back I only gained .25".

Picture shows droop travel with Bilsteins, 9" from tire to fender and I'm pretty sure the tire goes 1-1.7" up into the wheel well at full compression.

I have coils. I don't think you can put the Bilsteins on air suspension. Now that I have much more travel than an air suspension is capable of, I'm glad I went with coils.

Nice ride, what height setting did you install the Bilsteins on? how's the ride quality with the Bilsteins?

THX in advance
