WK2 Jeep grand cherokee steering issues

Hi all,
Good day,i would really appreciate some help/advice regarding my wk2 jeep gramd cherrokee limited diesel.

I bought a 2015 jeep GC limited diesel in september 2015.
Problem is when i turn steering right and left @ 30-50km/h,it makes a violent scraping noise like something is scraping down from the engine bay to below the driver compartment.I had it checked at John Hughes jeep, who had the car for 2 days, could not fix the issue and now saying that if you turn steering right and left at once it would create the same noise in all jeep gramd cherokees.

My question is does anyone else experienced the same issue with their Jeep GC.

Any advice, help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

2015 Laredo Altitude.....No funny noise with turning......
That's hogwash! Turning the wheel should not create any noise....
Go to another dealer if you can. Or call the regional service manager.

Re: WK2 Jeep grand cherokee steering issues

That is not normal on any vehicle, much less your GC. If your dealer is telling you it is then find a competent dealer and never go back to this one.

Agree, go to a different dealer. Many of these dealers are either incompetent or professional liars.

Yes, being a professional liar is a skill set one develops from being incompetent.

Re: WK2 Jeep grand cherokee steering issues

If the scraping sound was as bad as described, wouldn't the obvious be for the tech to actually LOOK for scrape/rub marks?
