This makes me want to run this setup even more. I have a 18x9 1 offset wheels picked out with same size tires. I don't have QL so I plan to get the RRO 2.5 lift for mine. Did you only have to bend pinch weld and felt for it at lowest setting or highest. I hear the 2.5 lift is about same height as your top height.

Yeah for you guys that can do the lift, it makes running this setup way easier. No need for trimming!!!!

I did bend over the pinch weld... not sure if I had to... but was trying to make some room.

Re: WK2 QL with 275/65/18 and 0 offset Rockstar II wheels

So most of you guys are curious as to what the clearances are with the QL when it's in Park height. There's no rubbing at all in normal height which is where ALL of my previous pics were taken at. So here's some video to show you park height in motion. There's a tiny bit of rubbing on the felt liner... only because it hangs out and needs to be tacked back better. If I push on it.. there's no issues.. but after time it sags back down and rubs a bit.

Now only if I can get a programmer to work with adding bigger tires I would get this now.

In this last video at 1:25 I go on and off a curb in OR1 to show you clearance.

WickedXJ said he had to bend the pinch weld too and it occasionally rub the felt up front. Nothing I am to concerned with.

Re: WK2 QL with 275/65/18 and 0 offset Rockstar II wheels

I love the look but couldn't do the trimming or the lift.
275-55-18 which are 2" shorter might work with the zero offset?
Not many tires that size mind you. Any suggestions what I could get away with without the lift or any rubbing or cutting?
Once again good job on trying to push the limits and reporting your success.
285-60-18 is what I'd like ideally if no rubbing (31.5 instead of 32.1 tall)
Think that might work?

So my thoughts if you're sticking with 0 offset is that you're gaining 0.3" clearance when dropping the overall diameter from 32.1 to 31.5, which won't help you out too much. If you're really opposed to some trimming, I think the look fellas get with the 275/65/18 on stock offset is probably your best option? Perhaps you can get away with playing with some spacers to find that perfect fitment where rubs don't occur!

Re: WK2 QL with 275/65/18 and 0 offset Rockstar II wheels

Do you think my proposed setup would rub? I charted them below, your setup is on the left...? Im going with 265vs275 and lower offset I like it wide but not wanting rubbing issues (on road I mean)..

Re: WK2 QL with 275/65/18 and 0 offset Rockstar II wheels

You should be good. The offset is what makes my setup complicated. Many guys running same overall diameter on stock wheels without issue. So if you go with a 265 then reduce your offset, then you'll be in good shape.

There's a couple other wheel setups you can look at where guys are running spacers that will show you what your offset will look like, not a tonne are running aftermarket wheels with that offset so you might struggle trying to find a good example.

If I could do it again, I'd probably go with the same tire but with a more appropriate offset.

Re: WK2 QL with 275/65/18 and 0 offset Rockstar II wheels

I went to discount tire today and they gave the whole that the 1 offset fuel trophy wheels will stick out to much and yada yada. I showed them pictures of a 0 offset setup. They said you buy them and mount them they are yours no returns. I plan to get the P metric ones not the LT ones for a little softer ride. Bad news is my wheels I want are on back order.
