New member here with a brand new '15 Limited in BBP, v6, 4x2, fully loaded.
I already changed out the lower chrome fascia with a black one. Next to get dechrome are the side chrome mirror covers which are on order. Following that, maybe the front chrome grill trim rings. Then after that, not sure what mods to get next since this one is GTG with all the options for my needs, but that could change
Looking good! Fellow '15 Limited 4x2 owner here in Granite Crystal. Are you going to de-chrome it all? I'm afraid to fall down that rabbit hole, plus I sorta like it as-is.
Thanks! Right on! Nah, won't be de-chroming all the chrome trim, but definitely the side mirrors next. I like some chrome, just enough to keep it classy. When there's too much chrome makes any car look too busy.
Thanks! Don't tempt me haha. If I do I'd want to get OEM everything and that's going to be cost some $$$. If anything I'll de chrome everything gradually.
Here's a update fellas. I managed to install the body color mirror covers the other day and i'm happy with how it looks. Now to decide which will be next to get de chromed, but i'm kind of liking the contrast of the chrome grill rings and foglight bezels.
Hey gang, here is a update since my original post. So far i'm loving the GC
Mods Currently Done
RRO 1.75" Leveling Kit
Bora Wheel Spacers; 1" Front/1.25" Rear
SRT Ninja Side Mirror Marker Lamin-X Pre-cuts
OEM black foglight bezels
California black historic license plates
20% tint on front windows
I have OEM black door handles on the way as well as SRT Ninja's headlight side marker pre-cuts. Once those are on I *think* the exterior should be how I want it. Stock slotted inner grills will stay as it goes well with classy/elegant look like bimmers. Chrome grill trim rings, chrome window trim, and the chrome tail light lower trim will stay on to compliment the stock wheels.
Future mods that I haven't thought much about, OEM SRT LED foglights, bigger tires(maybe), cold air intake, catch can, speakers, and interior LED lighting..
Nice Ride my friend. I recently got a limited in crystal granite and I love this vehicle. The first thing I did was remove the badging from the back. It made for a much cleaner rear. That "Limited" badge upsets the balance.
