Re: 2011 Overland Black on Black

Tried to do the Laminx on the tail lights last night and it was pretty hard. From a few feet away it dosn look bad, still need some tuff to settleutof the next wek or so. I think it looks good. I have very light headlight nd fogs coming in so I'll probabl have a pro do those or me.

Thanks man. It's so hard to keep up with it. Nonstop cleaning, but when it's done, man doe she look amazing. Next time I'll be back to a dark steel grey color.

Re: 2011 Overland Black on Black

That looks a awesome!

You should remove that white sticker that the dealer put on, on the bottom left of the rear hatch. I hate it when they do that!

Re: 2011 Overland Black on Black

Dang. Dealers should just stick to license plate frames. I don't know why they need to put stickers on the car.

Re: 2011 Overland Black on Black

I've gotten tickets before for the license plate frame the BMW dealer put on my car because it half way covered Garden State.

Re: 2011 Overland Black on Black

I installed LEDs in the running lights and in my fogs. They look awesome and match my headlights pretty darn close. I've tried to take a picture, but it doesnt do it justice. Anyone have tips on how to get a good picture of the lights?

Re: 2011 Overland Black on Black

Can you post a link for the fog and running lights? Thanks, jeep is looking great. Would love to see it now a couple months later if you have made anymore mods. Have you considered this shark fin antenna?

Re: 2011 Overland Black on Black

Fog Lights:

PSX24W 30W XenonDepot LED Fog Light Bulbs

Running Light:

3157 W2.5x16q Putco Plasma LED Bulbs

For the Fog Lights I would def stick with XexonDepot, but for the Running Lights, you can go on Amazon and search for the 3157 LED bulb size and find better proces. I went with these bc I like the company and the product.

I was thinking about the shark fin antenna. That will probbly be the next thing I do. I have made a couple other changes to the jeep ... chrome tow hooks, blacked out grill, and i have the black rear brow ready to be installed. I will post pictures in a little of the progress. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Thank you

Looks great and is the next project on my list. Did you use a heat gun as well or just fishing line?
Thanks!
