Re: 2014 Cashmere Summit Build Begins

Just back from the panel shop and I am liking the looks much better now the black skirts are gone.

They were even kind enough to change the grill mesh out for me while they had the front bumper off - I wasnt looking forward to that job after reading other post here

I am going to atempt the install of the RAX Jailbreak harness with the forward and rear cameras, Blackvue 650 2ch Dash Cam also hoping to remove the CD player and install the bigger console bin

Booked in to get the chrome wrapped next week hence why the chrome trims have been left off the sides.

Very nice.. Looking forward to rest of this build...I'm not a fan of chrome but after seeing this car i got to say after the lips and skirts painted i think it adds some class to it.. But the build must go on.. So far so good..

After having darkish and black cars before I didnt want to go though that again.
I wasnt sure about the Cashmere because no one had one in stock that I could look at but since the Summit only has a few colour choices, it was either white or cashmere. I do really like the looks of the white ones that I have seen but really happy the way this one is turning out

Picked it up last night after having almost everything wrapped, (he had a issue with the wrap not wanting to stay in place on the chrome trim in the front lower bumper) Was starting to question whether it was really worth the money, but now got to say that I am really happy with the way it is now looking worth every penny

With the crap weather and other things happening, I haven't had a chance to get any pics yet but it goes in early this week to get detailed and a bit of a polish so will get some pics up then.

Definitely up for a meet up here in Perth, HOPEFULLY it wont be too much longer until we get some decent weather.
