New member here. I just picked up my new Jeep GC Summit last Thursday. I traded in a 2006 Hummer H3 in on it. Before my Hummer I had a Jeep Wrangler so I'm not new to the Jeep world. Anyway, here are a few pictures to start.
Ok, I took a few interior photos. Unfortunately its pouring rain outside so I had to take the photo from weird angles while sitting in it. I'll take better pictures at a later date when I can stand outside the vehicle and take them.
By the way, the gold trim doesn't look good in the photos to me. It was the part that made me skeptical of the brown interior. However, in person it actually looks quite nice.
I think the 2014 Summit has less chrome overall than the 2012-2013 Overland Summits have. The 2014's don't have that gigantic chrome grill and those chrome bodyside mouldings or the rear hatch eyebrow moulding like the 2011-2013's.
Very nice. You'll love the black once you get it cleaned. I washed/waxed mine yesterday and after looking at it in the sun, it almost knocked me on my ass how awesome black looks cleaned up. Problem is keeping it clean...
I'm so glad I went with the brown interior instead of the black. I've always been a black on black guy. This was a break from the typical color combo I go for. The sales guy suggested the brown and I thought, "hell no!". The gold trim was the part that threw me off the most. It looks a hell of a lot better in real life as opposed to the pictures above. My opinion of course.
I agree -- same here. Always black on black... I also thought the gold wasn't good looking/matched from pics... THEN I actually sat in a grand canyon interior! WOW! It all comes together -- I'm so very glad I got the brown interior -- its different -- rich -- fits very nicely...! Anyone considering - or even not considering brown -- make sure you look at it first! Has to be one of the nicest interiors Ive ever owned...
Fury Motors, huh?...You weren't by chance in Woodbury, MN yesterday were you? I went the Black / Black route, but your interior definitely looks really nice as well!
Very nice. I love black cars. Unfortunately they get ungodly hot here in Southwest Florida. We picked up a white 2014 Summit on Saturday with the brown interior.
