I was much busier than anticipated today, and didn't have time to take pictures until it became completely dark. Attached is a teaser shot that should hold you over until I get some real pictures up tomorrow.

Standard Ride Height:

Off-Road II:

First Impressions:
Honestly, I am not thrilled with the look. As you can see, they don't fit perfectly and don't really "blend" with the vehicle. It also costed $1500 for everything (rails, shipping, install), which is not cheap. If I did a ton of off-roading, I'm sure my opinion would be different, but there is not a lot of off-roading in my area. If I had to do it all over again, I probably wouldn't. I will leave them on for a few months, and if I still don't like them, I will take them off. I still have the original trim that was taken off, so it should be fairly easy and cheap to undo.

Thanks. I am going back and forth on whether I like them or not, but either way they barely change the look of the vehicle so it isn't that big of a deal.

No. The guy said he expected a 3-4 hour installation, and it ended up taking them 12. He said they had a lot of issues, but thankfully they didn't hurt the Jeep (other than the fact that the leather smell inside is temporarily replaced by the smell of the service department).

Holy crap 12 hours! I hope I am the first rock rail install my dealer did. Other wise they are going to kill me!

Re: 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland- Granite

When I ordered my rock rails from the dealer (over a month ago now), the service guy told me it would take an HOUR! Yes please! Hopefully he stands by that now that it's been several weeks & I still don't have a delivery date...

Your Overland looks great!

I think the service guys installing mine spent more time than that crying.

Thanks, the look is really growing on me.

Really like the look of the rails... wish I could justify the $1500

They might look better with mud flaps and more aggressive tires. I have the same truck, and think that it is an unfinished look, almost like you are inbetween looks. Adding the flaps, tires, and a roof rack would make the truck look a little tougher and justify the bars.

Keep the post going bc I like seeing the experiments!

Yep, agree, looks out of place at the moment, needs those other things mentioned to continue the beefed up 4x4 look the sliders are giving.
