Talking 2014 JGC Limited with 20x9 SRT Replicas and +34mm offset

I am new to this forum as I just signed up last night 05/21/2015. I have literally searched the web trying to figure out if any rubbing will occur AT ALL with the 20x9 SRT Replicas with a +34mm offset. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! I am also considering a 285/55/20 tires (nothing too aggressive).

On the other hand, this is the best forum that I have found yet, and a lot of you have some pretty cool looking Jeeps. I will post pictures of both my Jeeps (2002, 2014 - Both Limited Editions) tomorrow.

Those wheels wont cause any rubbing....but those tires are very close to rubbing. Im pretty sure theres a member or two here with 285 55 20s. Why not 285 50 or 285 45?

You were actually one of the first members of this forum that I was looking at (recent posts), and I found them very informative. So glad I joined this forum. Anyways, what would you recommend on going with in my situation? The 285/50 or the 285/45?

Me personally i think the lower profile 285 45 would be sick

Re: 2014 JGC Limited with 20x9 SRT Replicas and +34mm offset

I will suggest another option to go with a 295/45/20 tire. The 20x9 wheels with those ties would be the same as the SRT setup.

Thanks for the heads up about the deal at the discount tire! Been eyeing up some 20x9 reps for my '15 limited but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Might have to head down to the local shop there and see this weekend.

Re: 2014 JGC Limited with 20x9 SRT Replicas and +34mm offset

I run a 295/45R20 on 20x9 SRT replicas for the summer and
285/50R20 on another set of 20x9 SRT replicas for the winter.
Both will fit without rubbing but the 285/50R20 will give you more options for all-season or all-terrain tires.

Re: 2014 JGC Limited with 20x9 SRT Replicas and +34mm offset

And also for reference here is the differences between the 285/50/20 and the 295/45/20. I guess I wouldn't say its significant, but there is a notable difference.

285/45/20 = 31.22"
295/45/20 = 30.45"

So this means with the 285's your speedometer would be slightly slower than you are really going due to the larger diameter tire. If you are going exactly 50mph, your speedo might show 47mph or something like that. Im not sure actual speed differences, but I just used that as a reference. I suppose you will technically be adding mileage to your vehicle slower as well lol.

Re: 2014 JGC Limited with 20x9 SRT Replicas and +34mm offset

Does anybody know the offset of Jeep's optional 20x8 5-spoke (for Overland, etc.)?
I'm thinking about a 20x9 aftermarket wheel with 35mm offset. I'm wondering how much of that extra inch in wheel width will go toward the outside?
