I thought that location looked familiar. I'll be in Island Park later in the week. Maybe I'll stop by there and take pictures.

Is the top of the dash brown or blue? The pics on the jeep website make it look brown, but yours looks blue.

It's definitely brown...although you're right it does kind of look blue in those pics. It's a very subtle deep brown. Most of the time you can't even tell what color it is.

Thanks! Hopefully the dealer here will get one so I can see it in person.

Is it just me or is everyone on that block ignoring the "one way" sign pointing in the other direction than the vehicles that are parked there?

I wish the front license plate bracket wasn't so thick. Ever thought about body color matching the bracket?

Re: 2014 Overland - Max Steel/Indigo Blue

Congrats...very nice! Regarding the Max Steel paint, isn't this the same color that has been around since MY '12? ...just wondering as many of the posts are asking questions as if it's a new color.

No, not really. The bracket is black so it's pretty close to the max steel color. Doesn't bother me too much.

Re: 2014 Overland - Max Steel/Indigo Blue

Those interiors looks nice!... The 70th interiors caught my attention, and yours are great also.

Regarding color tone, same happen with the olive green; it is dark and subtle. Nice ride you have there... Congrats!

The color might not be new to Jeep, but the person asking the question might be. I owned one other Jeep that I bought off the lot in '07. I wanted white and never even looked at other colors. I never even paid attention to other Jeeps to the point that until I joined here I didn't realize they all had "7" slots in the grill.

So, Max Steel was new to me ... and now I look at it every day ... and count the slots on every Jeep I see, just to make sure.
